Introducing The Inn Style Extensions Store

Our application is growing, and we’re rolling out a range of new opportunities available to you when you sign into Inn Style. Each feature we’re introducing is to ensure our solution remains the perfect fit for your changing needs.

We recognise that you might not need all of the extras we can offer, which is what sparked the idea to provide you with a library of extras that you can activate and de-activate as you need. 

The Inn Style Extension store puts you in total control of your PMS capabilities, giving you access to the tools you need to achieve your business goals. 

Our Extensions store makes it easy for you to just use the features which are relevant to your business. You choose which tools you need access to, and easily enable them in only a few clicks. 

Our team is working hard to bring this to your dashboard, All Inn Style users will be migrated over within the coming weeks. This means you’ll soon be able to explore a library of extensions that empower you to sell better, streamline communications, show off your extras, and so much more.

How does it work?

With the launch of our extensions store, you will now be able to find this under ‘Account’ on your PMS dashboard that reads: Extensions. 

This tab will show you an overview of all the extensions you have available to you. Each one will have a brief description of what it does, and whether this is a free or paid extension to have enabled on your PMS. 

Each extension is enabled individually. You have the freedom to choose what you would like access to out of the library of options available. As your business needs change, your Property Management System capabilities can adapt to your needs in real-time. 

Each extension is individually priced – some are free and others are priced per month. When you make a selection and enable an extension, the subscription fee is prorated and automatically added to your monthly subscription with Inn Style. This means you get instant access to the feature you’ve enabled on your account. 

Disabling an extension is just as simple as enabling it, We’ve made it as easy as possible for you to make decisions about what’s working and what isn’t through the easy enable/disable functionality our extensions offer. 

A sneak-peak at the Extensions Store

If you’re excited to know more about what features you now have access to, here is a brief overview of some of the first features to be released to our customers. 

Waiting Lists

Being fully booked doesn’t mean you have to lose out on potential customers for the same dates. If you’re fully booked, this feature gives the guest the ability to complete a form to join a waiting list.  The guest will be sent an email if the room and date become available with a direct link for them to be able to book.

Instant Notifications

Enjoy real-time notifications about what is happening with your reservations. All notifications will ping on the righthand side of the screen when you are logged in to Inn Style. This allows you to keep a finger on the pulse of your business at all times, without disrupting any other activities. 

Reviews

Over 80% of travelers either frequently or always read reviews before booking a hotel. With this extension enabled, you can display your guest reviews on your booking engine. You can also easily prompt feedback by sending your guests a post-stay email with a review link. When the guest leaves a review, you can see and respond to these reviews in insights.

Eye-catchers

The eyecatchers extension allows you to display a banner across your booking engine advertising whatever you like – whether you’re promoting your gift vouchers, running a special package or bringing attention to important information pre-stay. This banner will put this information right in the line of sight when a guest is booking their stay on your website. 

CSV Reports

This extension enables you to download reports daily by bookable room. It will give you the key information you need about occupancy, RevPAR and average daily rates. Quickly download the number of optional extras sold in a specified period. The five CSV reports available for you to download are: 

• Revenue by room nights
• Revenue and room nights by source
• Revenue and room nights by company 
• Optional extras 
• Customers

Provisional Expiry

Enabling this extension allows you to set a time limit on when your provisional bookings expire. This helps you stay on top of held rooms and be in control of bookings that haven’t been confirmed, limiting the number of missed opportunities with last-minute cancellations. 

Import iCalendars

Do you use Airbnb? Enable this extension to access importable calendars for Airbnb bookings, allowing us to pull reservations from Airbnb to block out your Inn Style calendar. We mark them as “from Airbnb” and leave them in a provisional state. We do not receive any guest details or booking costs.

Customers

Streamline your booking process and easily apply special or secret rate types using the Customers extension. This feature allows you to see all your customers in an alphabetical list. You can load any companies you have that book with you regularly and allow them to make reservations with their own secret rate type. All they need to add is the guest name to make a booking. 

Gift Vouchers

Boost your revenue stream throughout the year by enabling the Gift Vouchers extension. Easily sell gift vouchers for your Guests to redeem directly on your website booking engine. You have total control over the values, validity dates and restrictions of the vouchers you sell online. 

Our platform is yours to customise.

A small change, like the choice to activate an extension, can have a huge impact on your operations. We encourage you to navigate through the options available to you and start to experiment with what is working. You are in total control of your extensions and what you have active at any time.
