Using your Occupancy by Accommodation report.

Your Inn Style PMS dashboard gives you access to several powerful reporting tools, each looking at the key metrics you need to measure the success and performance of your business. 

The Occupancy by Accommodation report is a quick, visual oversight as to how sales are performing by room category. Each room category is colour coded, so you can easily see what’s performing well and what’s not. For the period you’ve selected, you can now better understand how many of each accommodation type you have sold for a particular day.

Each accommodation style and set-up is different, and you have total control of how you’re able to package and sell special rates with your Inn Style PMS. This is a visual breakdown of what rate types have been booked, and what days these rates have been booked on.

The valuable data in this report can be used to:

  • See what’s selling (and not selling) so well
  • Make sense of when people are booking specific room types
  • Choose the inventory you package for special offers or discounts for direct bookings
  • Make informed decisions about how to control the inventory you release to your OTA partners 
    • For example, you may want to release lower value accommodation to the OTA’s and upgrade someone who’s booked their stay directly with you.

To find this handy report on your Property Management System:

  1. Go to the Insights tab
  2. Find Quick Reports
  3. Select Occupancy by Accommodation from the drop-down menu provided
  4. Select your time period and generate your report in just one click

Inn Style Tip

Did you know that you can stack multiple Quick Reports in one overview? Your Occupancy by Accommodation report can be used in conjunction with your Occupancy by Rate Type quick report – this allows you to compare the performance of your rate plans against the performance of each room type you have on offer.
