GROUP ROOMS BY TYPE
If your property has multiple identical rooms, such as twin rooms, Inn Style’s multi-unit feature allows you to group them together under one category. Instead of setting up each room individually, you can define a single room type and assign multiple units to it, streamlining your booking management and availability tracking.

This feature makes it easier to manage rates, descriptions, and occupancy settings while keeping your calendar and availability simple for both guests and staff.
Instead of manually creating multiple rooms with identical settings, simply add the number of units you have, and Inn Style will handle the rest. All units under the same room type share the same description, rates, and occupancy settings, making it easier to manage pricing and availability.
Each unit is counted separately for availability, ensuring that bookings are allocated correctly without the need for manual adjustments.
While guests only see the room type when booking, you can assign custom names or numbers to each unit internally for better tracking. When you have multiple standard room types, this feature simplifies management while maintaining individual room tracking.
HOW grouping rooms WORKS
Create or edit an accommodation type, navigate to Accommodation in your Inn Style dashboard. If you don’t have any rooms set up yet, click Create New Accommodation. If you already have a room type and want to add multiple units, click Edit Room.
Next, to enable multiple units, in the room settings, find the section “Do you have multiple units? If so, how many?”
Enter the number of identical units you have.
Example: If you have 4 Budget Double Rooms, enter 4 in this field.
Click “Name Your Units”, and a list of auto-generated room numbers will appear. You can rename each unit manually. Guests will only see the room type name during booking (e.g., “Budget Double”), but internally, you will see the individual unit names/numbers for easy tracking.
Finally, to complete room setup fill in the room description, occupancy details, and pricing settings as usual. Click Save Accommodation to confirm your changes.
