Managing bookings across multiple platforms can be challenging, but Inn Style’s 2-way iCal integration makes it easier by enabling seamless calendar syncing with third-party booking channels.

This feature ensures that your availability updates automatically across platforms, helping to reduce double bookings and manual errors.
With 2-way iCal syncing, Inn Style will automatically update availability whenever a booking is made on a connected third-party site. This means you no longer have to manually adjust your calendar each time a reservation comes in, reducing the risk of overbookings.
Instead of constantly logging into multiple extranets, iCal connections allow you to manage availability from one central dashboard, saving you time and reducing administrative workload.
Because iCal updates availability across platforms, there is less risk of two guests booking the same room on different platforms at the same time. However, it is still recommended to verify bookings regularly as iCal feeds update with a slight delay.
Inn Style’s iCal integration is a completely free feature designed to simplify your channel management. With just a few clicks, you can link your third-party accounts and begin syncing bookings immediately.
HOW 2-WAY ICAL FEEDS WORK
To enable 2-way iCal Feeds, navigate to Account > Extensions > Importable iCalendars from your Inn Style dashboard. Activate the iCal feature to begin importing and exporting availability data.
Select your third-party provider from the available list. (If your platform is not listed, contact Inn Style Support for assistance.) Paste the iCal link provided by the third-party platform. Map the iCal link to the correct room or property in Inn Style and click “Save iCal Feed”.
Inn Style also supports outgoing iCal feeds, which allow you to share your availability with platforms like PitchUp, Cottages.com, and Airbnb.
To set up outgoing iCal feeds, go to Distribution > Outgoing iCal Feeds in Inn Style. Choose between Single Unit Only iCal Feeds (which contain individual reservation details) or standard availability feeds. Copy the iCal URL and paste it into the availability settings of your third-party booking platform.
