This Inn Style review we talk to Cowslip Meadows about what they like most about the Inn Style booking system and why they moved. Cowslip Meadows is a sustainable countryside retreat in the heart of South Leicestershire, near Market Harborough, offering luxury shepherd’s hut accommodation, a wood-fired lakeside sauna, wellbeing treatments, retreats and workshops. The space is designed to help guests rest, restore and reconnect with nature in a peaceful rural setting.
What made you join Inn Style
We were recommended by a marketing friend to have a look. After researching and trying to find a good platform to add to our website for direct bookings, Inn Style seemed to tick all the boxes we were looking for.
We wanted to offer customers coming directly to our website the ability to book directly from it, rather than being taken to another third-party platform. We wanted to be able to nurture the bookings, to reflect our ethos and how we approach our customers. We wanted to be in control of our customers’ journey, so special add-ons can be offered and other relevant extras suggested to them, according to when they are making a booking and how it coincides with other activities taking place on site.
This isn’t so easy to manage with a third-party booking system. We are a holistic, nature-inspired space in a rural spot in the heart of the UK.
The simplicity and straightforward implementation stood out to us, as well as having a manageable system that suits us as a small, boutique space. We don’t have a big office or technical people managing things. Inn Style understood how important our branding and style were too.
What stands out for us
The backend is easy to navigate, manage and understand. We didn’t want anything overcomplicated. We also like the fact that it can integrate with iCal and pull in bookings from elsewhere.
We have control over emails and communicating directly with customers, which is important to us.
The support is excellent, with always a solution and an understanding that we aren’t techy folks. The team are friendly and patient, and we always feel supported despite just being a tiny operation.
