With our comprehensive list of charging options – per room per night, per unit, per person, per adult, per child, per stay – you have complete control over how to charge for these extras.
Entice guests and improve conversion, by adding images to showcase your Optional Extras – these will be displayed during the booking journey on your website.
Do you have an extra that needs to be charged?
Great! You are able to add them to the Optional Extras section, just switch out Optional for Compulsory. When guests make a booking, these fees will be automatically added to their cart and won’t be able to be removed.

There are various ways in which you are able to track the sales performance of Optional Extras.
You can track these through reservation details, housekeeping reports, and booking analysis reports. Wanting to run a report to track how many sales you’ve made? Sure! You are able to run an Optional Extras CSV report.

Please note that the ‘Optional Extras’ ONLY works for direct online reservations from your website. It DOES NOT apply to OTA channels that have their own optional extras settings and must be set up direct with Booking.com or Expedia themselves.
